As everybody knows tales and stories are very good didactic resources for teachers, and also in teaching foreingn language. Furthermore they help to increase reading in children.
We have created this blog as a help tool for teachers who are looking for these resources on the web .Here you can find different stories and tales related to special moments during the year: Christmas, Halloween, St Pactrick Day....and also poems or nursery rhymes, fables, legends.....

Nursery rhymes



THREE LITTLE KITTENS
Do you know what happen with the mittens of these three little kittens? This nursery rhyme is very fun. You can play a game to try to guess the meaning of the unknown vocabulary.

DAYS OF THE WEEK
This could be a very fun way to learn and memorize the days of the week. Your pupils will be able to create a new rhyme following this structure, just changing some words.

We can find a variety of tales related to pictures. They are made for native speaking children for age 2 to 14 years old (it is specified the age in all tales).
You can adapt these stories for children who are learning English.
